Architectural photography is one of the key fields of Gustav Willeit’s work. His focus on the geometries of the buildings, the conformation of urban texture and metropolitan horizons to be found in his photos taken all over the world is not the object of documentary-like investigation but helps him structure his own expressive language based on the composition’s inner rhythm: a rhythm defined by the dialectic of light contrasts and architectural shapes.
