The series is composed of vast frames of mountainous landscapes in winter that lack a definite time reference. There are no human traces in these barren areas overlooked by a threatening black sky and cold clouds that blend in with the underlying heaps of snow and ice. Color is reduced to few details, often in the center of the photographs, which form a tenuous and discolored reference to the domain of life.
